What makes us different?

Dr. Harlan Bieley spends ample time with each patient, typically 60-90 minutes on an initial consultation and 30 minutes to 1 hour for follow up consultations. These are personalized, customized consultations, not cookie-cutter medicine. Dr. Bieley received his Medical Doctorate (MD) from the University of Miami School of Medicine. He is an Advanced Fellow in Anti-Aging, and Regenerative Medicine received from the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine. He received a Masters of Science degree (MS) in Medical Sciences with a concentration in Metabolic and Nutritional Medicine from the University of South Florida, Morsani College of Medicine, where he graduated top of class. We use bio-identical hormones for men and for women to balance your hormones until you become symptom free. We also look to find and treat the underlying cause(s) of problems and not just treat symptoms. These hormones can also be used for selected psychological and psychiatric illness (see inside website for more information). We use Genova Diagnostics lab and ZRT labs for saliva testing and Rhein labs for urine testing.

We offer gene testing to prevent or preempt breast cancer, heart disease/stroke, osteoporosis, multiple drug metabolism reactions, immune dysregulation, for weight loss, and more. Gene testing can evaluate the entire methylation cycle for patients with methylation issues (commonly seen in Autism Spectral Disorder).

We offer blood testing, blood-spot testing, urine testing, saliva testing, and stool testing to evaluate different parameters to optimize your health. For example, new information has that for shown uric acid levels each point greater than 7 increases your risk of all cause mortality (the risk of you dying from any cause) by 8-13%. We can help you lower uric acid levels (easily measured by blood). This will help lower your blood pressure, too. Ref: Dr. David Perlmutter, MD. We use Genova Diagnostics for stool testing. We use conventional labs (Quest and Lab Corp for blood testing), and ZRT for blod spot testing for hormones. We use Genova Diagnostics for stool testing.

We offer nutritional therapy and customized nutrients based upon your unique physiology after high-end nutritional testing. We do Organic Acids Testing using the Great Plains Labs.

We offer bio-active lipids in the treatment of chronic disease and psychiatric illness. We offer testing of fatty acids through Kennedy Kreiger Peroxisomal Lab at Johns Hopkins Medical Center.

In conjunction to fatty acids testing, we offer IGL testing from Germany that looks at mitochondrial function (how you make energy) and DNA adducts (additional substances, eg, toxins on DNA and mitochondria).

We offer Peptide therapies (Regenerative medicine) designed to accelerate healing of bone, muscle, tendon, and nerve; also lose body fat, improve your immune system, and improve memory and recovery from stroke or traumatic brain injury (in combination with bio-identical hormone replacement and specific nutrients).

We offer testing and treatment for Toxic Heavy Metals and Environmental Toxins such as Mercury, Lead, Arsenic, and others. we use Doctor's Data for toxic heavy metals, and The Great Plains Labs for environment toxins as well as Genova Diagnostics.

We offer testing and treatment for Mold Mycotoxins. Mycotoxins prevent the removal of free radicals from the body by interfering with the antioxidant mechanisms of the body. This leads to accelerated aging and promotes disease. We use Real Time Labs and The Great Plains Lab for mold mycotoxin evaluation.

Regain and/or improve sexual functioning. It's an important part of who people are and we discuss these issues openly with patients that desire this help and support. We use Rhein labs, Genova Diagnostics and conventional labs for post-finasteride syndrome patients.

We address chronic stress (Adrenal Fatigue). The aim is to prevent, 'burn out syndrome', improve and restore your functioning to make you stress resilient. This is co-equal in primacy to other hormone deficiencies. We use Genova Diagnostics and ZRT for these tests.

There is no double booking for patient appointments. Your appointment time is exclusively yours. A missed appointment or an appointment not cancelled with 24 hours notice (except for a bona fide, documented emergency) shall be charged $100 to your credit card. Late arrivals will be worked in as time permits. We are currently accepting new patients.
